The Bachelor's Emma Roche shuts down comparisons to clingy Cass Wood

And now Emma Roche has furiously responded to the backlash, shutting down comparisons that she's this year's Cass Wood.

'Cass is a beautiful girl, but I'm nothing like her,' the 32-year-old told OK magazine this week.

Cass shot to fame on season six of The Bachelor, where she was memorably branded a 'stage five clinger' over her schoolgirl fixation on Nick Cummins.

While Emma insists that she's nothing like the blonde beauty, the marketing manager did tell OK magazine that she's already keen for Bachelor Matt to meet her family.

'They would love him,' she gushed. 'My family would be thrilled if I were to end up with him.'

'I'm at the stage of my life right now where I'm really looking for love. I do... I love being in love. I just love love. There's no feeling like it,' she told the hunk.

'I've always dreamed of the wedding, the gown... if it had that sort of classic theme, that would be wonderful,' she said.

Matt ended up giving the golden ticket to Elly, securing her a home visit with him.
