Snoop Dogg and Master P Recall Legendary Eazy-E, Soulja Slim, and Suge Knight Stories

The stories are absolutely legendary.

Hip hop historians are happy today. With the return of Snoop Dogg's GGN series, we come to an exciting conversation between The Doggfather and No Limit CEO Master P. Opening the interview with a testimony of P's influence, Snoop praises him as his “mentor” and his “g " Of course, the No Limit CEO is excited to be by his former artist, wasting little time reflecting on some of his best hours. "It's crazy all the things we've done," says P. "They have no idea." Before long, he's delving into his own home story, remembering the first time he released music in 1992. “When I arrived in Los Angeles, Eazy-E opened his arms to me and said 'man, I'm taking you to Julio G. That's how I got my first song on the radio. It was after that! "
Reflecting on P's practical approach to business, Snoop releases a few reminders of some No Limit stories. “When I was at No Limit, I saw you do everything that was P,” Snoop recalls. “From starting a business to starting a business, showing people how to do it. You've always wanted to teach property. ”Explaining that Michael Jackson's lawyer taught him the importance of the distribution deal, P made a point of moving accordingly. Returning to Snoop's time, P revealed that he never intended Snoop to settle there. “No Limit is a university,” he says. “When you get out of here, I want you to flourish, take care of your business. Twenty years later, you're still in the game, I'm still in the game. ”
He goes on to detail the time he had to negotiate Snoop's musical freedom from an incarcerated Suge Knight. “I sat down and said 'look man. Snoop trying to do his thing, what do you want for the deal? ”Says P. After Suge countered that there was an existing deal, P offered to sweeten the deal with an additional $ 300,000. Snoop thanks P for retrieving his publication, joking that No Limit really was like a university. “It was like dorms,” he laughs. “Soulja Slim lived there, C Murda lived there. There was a gangsta shit! ”
